Position 1

Permanent Position as Senior DB2 DBA
with a leading Indian IT Services Firm at CANADA!

Their Global Development Centers in India are assessed at BS 7799, ISO 9001 and Level 5 of the SEI CMM. Essential Requirements
  • 7+ years experience as DB2 DBA

  • Preparing database naming standards for database & application objects

  • Coding & Scheduling database maintenance jobs

  • Good experience and exposure of Onsite -Offshore model

  • Experienced in a Customer Support Environment.

  • Good communication skills and Good team player.

  • IBM Certified DB2 DBA

Technical Solutions Architect

Responsible to : Delivery Manager

Job Purpose

The primary role of Professional Services is to provide quality, innovative, business focused solutions for customers and channel partners. As a senior member of the Professional Services team the Technical Solutions Architect is focused on driving technical solutions to meet business needs. They will work with a number of different entities, both internal and external to client, providing guidance and assistance on how best to design, implement and deliver technical solutions to achieve the desired business results for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the process framework for how Professional Services will utilize and deliver new and existing product offerings and technologies from the client Product teams in their customer deliveries.

  • Formulate a working strategy for 3rd party vendors of non-productized integration adaptors for data, infrastructure and service area applications and the development and management of this strategy within Professional Services.

  • Provide support and analysis for technical solutions created during the sales bid process.

  • Provide Quality Control of engagements by setting, measuring and enforcing technical delivery standards.

  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring and coaching to the technical implementation teams in Professional Services on the delivery of customer solutions.

  • Provide customers with technical solutions to business issues in relation to the Frontline product suite e.g. conducting integration, performance and benchmarking analysis/reviews and documenting outcomes, options and recommendations.

  • Providing constructive feedback to Product Managers in order to improve product/service.

  • Work with our customers IT organization to establish technology strategy at an application level.

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in applications architecture systems integration and design techniques.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years application delivery experience preferably in a CRM environment

  • Minimum of 2-3 years application delivery experience preferably in a CRM environment

  • Good understanding of database management systems including Oracle and MS SQL Server.

  • Good understanding of application servers such as Web Logic, Web Sphere, JBoss and Apache Tomcat.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and learn new skills quickly.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and influencing skills.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Desirable Requirements
  • Knowledge of the Product Lifecycle.

Location: Based in Toronto/Canada

The successful candidate will be expected to spend periods working on customer site depending on opportunities and partner requirements. Customer sites can be anywhere, as we have client business to conduct, and could include UK, Ireland, Europe, Middle East and North America..
