How to send a resume ?

The send section on the extreme right of the company postings table provides two options. These are:

A. Paste Resume

B. Add to Job Cart

What does Paste Resume mean? What happens when I click on it?

Click on the Paste Resume link provided with every posting, In the Post Resume section paste your resume in text format. Please ensure that you have spelt your name and mail id correctly. Click on the Send Button. The resume will be automatically forwarded to the company you have applied

 
Can I send the resume as an attachment ?

The Paste Resume facility does not support attachments.

 
My skill sets are compatible with more than one job posted in the Employers Job Posting section? Can I use the Paste Resume facility to send my resume to multiple companies at once?

The Paste Resume feature cannot send the job seeker's resume to multiple companies. For instance, if a particular job seeker is interested in Company X' and Company Y's jobs, he/she must first click on the Paste Resume facility provided with Company X' posting and send the resume. Once the operation is complete for Company X, click on the Paste Resume Facility provided with Company Y's posting to send the resume.

To send resume to multiple companies in one-shot, we recommend that job seekers use the Add to Job Cart facility.

What does Add to Job Cart do?

The Add to Job Cart facility helps the job seeker to send his/her resume to multiple companies at once.

 
How is the Add to Job Cart facility different from the Paste Resume facility?

The Paste Resume facility does not permit the job seeker to send his/her resume to multiple companies at once. For instance, if the job seeker is interested in jobs posted by Company X and Company Y, the job seeker will have to click on the Paste Resume facility provided with Company X' posting, paste the resume and close the window. The job seeker will have to repeat the operation for Company Y. In contrast, the Add to Job Cart facility sends the resume to multiple companies at once.

 
How does the job seeker use the Add to Job Cart facility?

Click on Add to Job Cart facility provided with the company posting that interests you. A pop-up window will appear on your screen with details such as Company, Name, Position, Location and Remove.

Minimise the window and continue browsing the Employer Job Posting section.After selecting the next job, click on the Add to Job Cart facility provided with this posting. This job will automatically be added to the Job Cart.

The job seeker can continue the process for as many jobs as he/she wants to apply. Once the selection process is complete, click on the Send Resume button given below the cart.

This will lead to the Post Resume section. Paste your Resume in the appropriate box. The resume will be automatically sent to all companies added to the Job Cart

 
I have selected a particular company to send my resume, but I now want to remove it from the cart? What do I do?

There's a provision with every posting that the job seeker adds to the Job Cart to delete the same. Select the opening you want to delete by clicking inside the Remove box. Then click on the Delete button at the end of the Remove column. The posting will be removed from the Job Cart.
